Exercises

Begin by doing a simple move with your body. Make the move bigger and bigger. As you amplify the move, pay attention to other things that are happening in your body as a result. Amplify those movements and see what else shows up elsewhere in your body. Continue the pattern of amplifying, noticing other changes, and amplifying those.

There’s a tendency to believe that the next step in a story is always something new or different. This belief can make players start chasing after plot. The fact is, what’s next can also be found within the present moment. It just hasn’t been discovered yet.

Exercises

Make an offer. Repeat the offer with a point of view. Continue repeating it with a progressively stronger point of view. Eventually, something new will show up. When it does, explore that.
