A parallel offer is saying or doing the same thing as someone else.
Miguel considers his situation on the chess board, then makes his move. (offer) Antonio contemplates the situation, then moves one of his pieces. (parallel offer)
Parallel offers are a good way to establish activities where everyone is doing the same thing, like participating in a yoga class or counting down to the new year.
What a parallel offer doesn’t do is add new information. For this, you need to make a complementary offer, which adds something new, but relevant to the previous offer.
