Five players are given a simple product for which they develop the elements of an ad campaign: the product name, package design, slogan, spokesperson, jingle, target market, and marketing strategy.

Variations

Commercial – Other players play out a commercial at the end.

Event planners – Players plan out a big event.

Inventors – The players invent a machine that does a task with each player adds an element. When the concept is complete, the invention is named.

Notes

  • This exercise helps players practice co-creation.
  • Each player generates at least one idea.
  • The entire group greets each idea with huge enthusiasm.
  • Don’t change or offer alternatives to other players’ ideas.
  • Build on the ideas that other’s bring.
