Here are some tips to speak with confidence.

• Remove filler sounds and words like “um,” “er,” “you know,” “like,” and “basically.”
• Hold silence with ease until you’re ready to speak.
• Speak in short, concise sentences.
• Make declarative statements.
• Speak as though you know, even if you don’t.
