 » Back dancing

Two players stand back to back. Pressing their backs against each other, they move into a seated position. By varying how hard they push and resist, the players move in one direction or the other.

Notes

  • This exercise is a physical metaphor for the back and forth that happens when exploring conflict between two characters.
  • Give your full weight to the other player. This exercise is harder to do when you don’t.
