Think of an activity that involves many actions. Make a list of as many related actions as you can think of. Here are some activities to get you started.

• Waiting for a flight
• Getting ready for a date
• Riding cross-country in a bus
• Shopping for clothes
• Cleaning up after a campaign rally
• Sitting shiva
• Building a model
• Visiting someone in a hospital

Variations

Called actions – After making the list, play a scene while someone outside the scene calling out actions to be done.

• When it seems like you’ve found all the actions, look for two more.
