A player assumes a character and is asked about simple details in their life. The player answers, beginning to speak as soon as the question has been asked.
Notes
Questions should be about empirical facts. E.g., “Where did you grow up?” and “What’s your father’s profession?
Don’t ask for opinions. E.g., “What’s your favorite color?”
Answers should be given without pausing to think.
Answers should sound normal, without needing to be justified. E.g., If the player says they have 35 children, that sounds odd without some kind of justification.
This exercise is like a relaxed version of Hot seat, focusing on simple facts.
