Orlando Interactive Performance Workshop

The Orlando Interactive Performance Workshop is a professional training program where performers become fearless inter-actors, mastering the art of co-creating living fiction with their audience. This dynamic workshop is a playground for bold experimentation—where story meets spontaneity, and every interaction becomes part of the performance. Here you’ll develop the skills to blur the line between stage and spectator, transforming passive viewers into vital co-creators in the story. Ready to play? The next scene starts with you.
Class details
Classes are held on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:30 PM in Orlando’s vibrant Ivanhoe Village. Enrollment is on a month-to-month basis, offering flexibility to accommodate life’s other commitments.
The classes focus on skill-building, with occasional opportunities for performance, along with coaching and support for students’ individual creative ideas. We are currently working with the StoryBox format, which centers on collaboratively building a narrative with an audience member as the protagonist. This approach helps develop essential skills in listening, storytelling, and ensemble collaboration.
Cost & Commitment
To support the growth of the interactive performance in the Orlando area, classes are offered free of charge. A $20 commitment deposit is collected at the start of each month to help maintain consistency and is returned at the end, provided attendance expectations are met. Commitments are made on a monthly basis, balancing individual flexibility with group stability. See the Commitment Agreement below for full details on expectations.
