Player A secretly comes up with something for Player B to do. Then they play a scene in which Player A backleads Player B to do that thing without instructing them. When Player B does what was backled, Player A gives a stroke and the scene is over.
When you initiate, you give the spect something to respond to. This helps at the beginning of a story, when spects are more comfortable responding than initiating.
It’s good to reward spects with strokes when they exhibit desired behaviors, but beware of over-stroking. When strokes are too big, they feel fake. Keep strokes real and genuine or spects will feel like you’re patronizing them.
