Kate Ingraham is the Director of Educational and Training Programs for TLE TeachLivE™ at the University of Central Florida. She received her Ph.D. in instructional technologies from the University of Central Florida. Her primary area of research focuses on the design of simulated learning environments to promote emotional engagement and empowered learning with a special interest in avatar based simulation systems. As the Director of Educational and Training programs for TeachLivE, she works with researchers, faculty, computer scientists, and inter-actors to design research studies and interactive training scenarios using the TeachLivE simulated environment and related platforms. Past work has included interactive training experiences for teachers, health care providers, university students, and law enforcement officers.
